looking for an engine

Hey fellow bus people
I am at a stand still with my "project syncro".
Everything seems to be looking good, I am only missing one thing....

I need an engine.

Lisa wanted me to put in a "new" engine. I do not have the $$ or patience to save.
Does anyone have an engine available for purchase?
or
Can anyone point me in a direction where I can find one at a reasonable price??

I am also selling my 71 bug to help with the financial end. (let me know if interested)

Hi Jon,

I haven't seen anything locally recently. Have you looked at The Samba or on ebay. You are taking your chances but from experience I purchased my long block from someone on The Samba and it has been great.
