We have a 97 eurovan. I scrapped the front bumper on one of those high curbs, and noticed later a small tube shaped coil hanging down from a wire. About 4-5" long. I got under the van front, and looked up, and it came from the top inside of the front bumper back facing. The wires disconnected except for the one wire (I had driven 15 miles on the expressway and it hung by the single wire) from its housing. There was a second one still intact adjacent to the first housing, with wires coming down from an opening - which is below the radiator of course. The tube is one of exposed wire coils (? subject to all kinds of wet elements of course - can't believe it's there). The coil seemed burned for about 2 inches at one end. Anyhow, nothing hit a miss in driving, no lights flashing, no overheating. I'm hoping it is nothing essential of course. I have attached a picture of the tube hanging and of the underneath mounting housings. Any eurovan owner or anyone know what that part is? Or can direct me to a site to identify it? Thanks. We don't want this put us out of commission for coming to Camp Rogue. Attachments:
