We are new to the VW Camper bus. My hubby has a 74 Karman Ghia (usual vw engine), but the 74 bus has a porsche engine. Looks like we have a pretty serious oil leak, and he thinks he has found the problem. It's something he calls an Oil cooler??? It sits on the left side of the engine. From what he says, it looks like he has to take a lot of parts of the engine off to even get to it. Is this true? Does anyone have any suggestions, or wanna come over and drink some beer and advice on a bus repair??!!
My husband doesn't usually ask for help or even accept it, but I really really wanna go to the camp out and the count down is becoming smaller!
Anyway, even a suggestion as to a good website with repair tricks would be great. We can usually find anything, but the porsche engine is not as easily researched!
