anyone thinking of painting their fiberglass poptop in near future, i have some leftover paint for you. After much research I went with brightsides top side boat paint. I did this for my '69 sportsmobile project and am happy with the results. I only used about 1/2 what I started with and hate to put it in basement to solidify- so if you are doing this project this summer/ fall come and get it- cost=one cold beer.
I have about 3/4 of a quart of a mix of primer and brightsides (recommended for first coat ) and about the same of straight brightsides. also 1/2 bottle 333 brushing solvent. I really don't want to ship b/c it could open and make a mess- so come to Niles for a roadtrip (sept 19 free ali baba's tahini concert!) and get some paint.
btw- you can roll/brush it and get good results- self levels pretty nice.

Hey Dan, I'll take that off your hands. My top needs to be redone and I think this fall would be a great time to do it.
