:Planning our trip across the UP for the end of August. The whole trip is really hard on us as we drive 1000 miles form Buffalo NY threw the UP and Wisconsin to our northern MN cabin and back again after 12 days or so.
The Mackinac bridge is half way so we need to stop of and rest at least one night traveling threw and back.
We have been staying in the Gobeic lake camp grounds more often than not but would like any other ideas on cool water side spots and break the trip up into reasonable lengths.
