Amy, Glad you had a fun time with us at the Grand Rogue campout. We had a ball again. The beautiful weather we had at the car show was a relief after all the rain we had earlier in the week. All the great cars and Buses for such a worthy cause and of course sticking it ...AGAIN...to the mustang club was worth the price of admission. So many millions of mustangs out there and so fews buses left on the road and we wooped'm! It will be so nice to watch YOU drive into camp in your own Westy some day!
It was fun watching the camp ground fill up with buses from all over the midwest. A special thanks from cat and i to Brien, Billy and Todd for towing our engineless westy to the camp!! Also a big thanks to Brien for letting us drive the "carrier" to the car show, it's so much more fun to drive a bus to the show instead of the rental that got us to GR. Pete did another great job with the auction and raffle.
The music supplied by Blue Country saturday night was great! Lots of pick'n and grin'n in spite of the little rain we got that never dampened our spirits a bit.
Also a big thank you for the wonderful pancake, eggs, and burrito breakfast Sunday morning. Sure was nice to wake up to a cooked meal after all the fun saturday night, and not have'n to cook was really appreciated!
Our community of friends is so careing and share'n of suggestions and fixes for our buses. Little things that make the camping and driving of our ageing beasts a better pleasure. And seeing old friends again after the winter hibernation with plans to assemble again this year at the events BBtB has planned for our pleasure and entertainment with all monies headed to our favorite cause, the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors.
THANKS to Brien, Billy, Todd and Pete and staff for make'n this weekend a fun and family oriented time that was enjoyed by all!! We look forward to seeing our friends at the next event we can attend. (Having an engine would make that happen sooner!)
Wishing you miles of smiles!

Amen! What a riot this past weekend was. Thanks for encouraging me to get my bass out and jam with Blue Country. I'm still high from all the phun. I think I can speak for Billy, Pete and Todd when I say it was truly our pleasue to put Bus Benefit on. It is a labor of love. Looks like we made our goal of $10,000 with the matching grant too.
Thanks to the Sanchez' for taking charge of the breakfast and thanks to all those who helped. Great job on the new sign to Roger and Mary. Billy...you are a kick but webmaster and Pete, another great job on the raffle Captian my Captian.
A BIG thanks to all of you who got up early on Saturday and cruised to the car show. I know its not easy to get going that early on a Saturday but your efforts helped us beat the Mustang Club by two vehicles. TWO VEHICLES!!!! It was close.
Hope we'll see you at another event soon. Check out the calendar on the website.
